SNSS April Release Mini Blog Hope Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of our Mini Blog Hops
celebrating the April Releases at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! 
Today we're showcasing two fabulous sets -
 
 
Here's my card made with the beautiful Poppy Backround stamp -
I simply sponged the image with red ink and then added
some white highlights in the center with a gel pen. 
The scalloped black edge is the back side of a die-cut using
The tag is made using a newly released set called Mini Tags and Sentiments
and the matching Mini Tags dies.

Stampin Up Real Red, Lucky Limeade ink
MFT Color Box Black Licorice ink
 
 
 
Here are the details:
The set contains 1 large image.
The poppy is 3 3/4"  x 3 3/4".
The price is $15.
It's designed by Korin Sutherland.
 
 
 
 
This card was made with the wonderful set Precious Poppies - I know I'm going to reach for this set again and again with all it's fabulous sentiments and beautiful poppy images!
I kept this one clean and simple, colouring the image with copics and simply adding ribbon and pearls.

It measures 8" x 6".

Great job on both of these cards. My favorite is the second one with the black and white gingham ribbon. You have rendered the stamp beautifully and I like the shading behind it. Excellent placement of the sentiment. Very well done.

The sponging technique worked so great on this card. It stands out so well on the green and white background. Love the sentiment on the 2nd card with the poppies and the black and white ribbon. Thanks so much.
