Hello! It's my third week as Guest Designer with the fabulous Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge Design Team and this week Denise Marzec has given us the challenge to use RED! (FTTC208)
I immediately thought of this fantastic bicycle image from the Flourishes set Bike Ride.
The set includes a number of images so that you can add different things
inside the basket such as a dog, a picnic lunch, and a pile
of books, but I chose to add the bunch of flowers,
colouring them RED to match!
I used a cloud die-cut to sponge a summery blue sky.
This layout is one of my "go to" sketches and it gave me
the opportunity to mix a couple of dp's in polka dots and stripes!
Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles Large
Fiskars Circle Cutter
Papertrey Ink cloud die
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Stampin Up Cool Caribbean ink
Thanks again to the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday DT for inviting
me to join them this month and
thank YOU for taking the time to stop by today!
Take some time to be inspired by what these fabulous designers have
come up with for you this week:
Bridget this is so beautiful!
The sky is perfectly done and I love the partial image of the bicycle!
Classy, classy card!
WOWSERS Bridget! I am in love with your card! Love the peek of the red bicycle with the beautiful sky! Awesome!!!
WOW WOW WOW Bridget!! Absolutely gorgeous card! You knocked it out of the park!
Oh SO cute! Love your version of the challenge.
This is just beautiful, Bridget! Love the colors and your design-I would not have thought to cut the circle shape thereby only using a part of the bicycle image. Just perfect!
What a delightful card, Bridget!! I love the red and blue combo and the clouds background with the bicycle! Beautiful card as always!
This is gorgeous Bridget.. Beautiful colors and coloring, love the clouds.
AWEsome card. Loving how you cropped the image, I need to remember to do that more! VERY Inspirational!
This is beautiful! You really know how to put colors together!
Oh my goodness, I LOOOOOOOVE how you used the bicycle image and how you have it cut off the edge. I never would have thought of using it that way, but oh how I love the look of it! Your clouds are so beautifully done, too. Really awesome card!!
