SNSS August Release Mini Hop Day 5

Hello and welcome to Day 5 of the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Mini Blog Hops
showcasing the August Release sets - today we're highlighting
two fantastic sets designed by Korin Sutherland with large inspirational sentiments,
His Peace and Calms His Child.

For the first card I sponged the main panel cut with Nestababilites Labels 8 while still in the die with
Stampin Up's Blushing Bride ink before stamping the sentiment in Versafine Black Onyx ink.
It's framed with a die-cut using Nestabiliies Decorative Labels 8.
It's hard to see here, but the back panel in watermelon red/pink has been dry embossed with stripes.
The little hearts are cut using Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Heart Die set.

The beautiful silhouette from the SNSS set The Sea seemed like a perfect
background for this comforting sentiment - it's been stamped in Stampin
 Up's Pool Party ink,
and I also sponged around the edges of the panel with the same ink.
The only embellishments are twine and silver pearl brads.

Both of these sets nearly make the card all by themselves,
I know I'll use them time and time again.
Check out the details below:

His Peace stamp set includes 1 large sentiment.
It measures approximately 3" x 4 ".
Stamp measures 2 1/2" x 3 3/8".
Designed by Korin Sutherland.

Calms His Child stamp set includes 1 large sentiment.
It measures approximately 3" x 4 ".
Stamp measures 2 1/2" x 3 3/8".

Bridget,

Your cards are fabulous!

Both cards are beautifully crafted. I continue to learn from you about style, color, and the overall message of a card. You show us the bigger picture in your designs i.e., the softly stamped harbor with ship, The lighter side with hearts in the flourishes and sentiment placed on a pretty filigree frame (even the color is important to convey the message). You're an amazing designer Bridget!

I'm really loving the die cutting. What a great look for a simple card.

Your cards are gorgeous!! The first card just pops off my screen with those pretty colors! And I love the stamp you chose for behind the sentiment on the second card. It looks like those two stamps were made for each other!

Bridget, Two beautiful cards! I love how you incorporated The Sea Set in the second card and your striped twine adds to the nautical feel. Thanks for sharing!

I agree that these beautiful sentiments need very little else to send a great message!
