Another practice card for the Watercolor for Cardmakers Online Class,
this time trying freehand watercoloring. I had a couple of complete failures,
this was the only one I felt okay with, but it's all practice, right?!!
I found a photo of some orange and yellow tulips as inspiration,
and stenciled in a background, adding some splatters to finish.
I confess to being a little obsessed with splatters,
but I resisted the temptation to add sequins this time!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Love your card. Love your style. I just started following your blog. I am taking the watercolor class too. The class has been so fun. I have been sending out lots of watercolor cards. I don't have a blog. Thanks for sharing your inspiration.
Bridget this is GORGEOUS. Oh my, so very pretty. You have painted something marvelous.
Very good results Bridget.
Very, very pretty. I have the same obsession for sequins!
This is beautiful!
You've created another beautiful card. I love your choice of colors!
What lovely card! It wouldn't be the same without the splatters:)
Gorgeous tulips! Bright and cheery card!
This is freehand? You have talent!
