Yellow Tulips

Another practice card for the Watercolor for Cardmakers Online Class
this time trying freehand watercoloring.  I had a couple of complete failures,
this was the only one I felt okay with, but it's all practice, right?!!

I found a photo of some orange and yellow tulips as inspiration,
and stenciled in a background, adding some splatters to finish.
I confess to being a little obsessed with splatters,
but I resisted the temptation to add sequins this time!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Love your card. Love your style. I just started following your blog. I am taking the watercolor class too. The class has been so fun. I have been sending out lots of watercolor cards. I don't have a blog. Thanks for sharing your inspiration.
