There's a Hope You Can Cling To butterfly challenge and a pink challenge over at Splitcoastampers today so I combined both. This photo hasn't been doctored, the pink really is that bright!
I layered the butterflies, with black behind the pink for more definition and masked the card base with post-it-notes before sponging for a square. The sentiment is from Waltzingmouse, I love the combo of large bold lettering with a smaller sentiment. I'm asked to make "thinking of you" cards more than any other type - it's great that people are not only thinking about each other, but letting them know too!
The pearl button as a grayish hue so I colored the pearls with a light gray copic so that they'd match.
Other supplies include:
Cheery Lynn Designs large butterfly die
SU Melon Mambo ink
Versafine Onyx black ink
Post-it-notes

What a cheerful shade of pink! Beautiful card, Bridget.
Love this card, Bridget. It is very different from your usual style but every bit appealing! Are you going to the Kings Hall at the weekend?

This is GORGEOUS! I love that you left that large white border, and the butterfly is amazing!
