I created this card for two challenges - the Less is More Challenge 86 - Take 3 Challenges and the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoaststampers.
Over at Less is More, Chrissie and Mandi gave us the challenge of choosing three previous challenges and combining them - I chose:
Week 2 One Layer - Flower or Tree
Week 9 Colour Challenge - A Touch of Red
Week 12 Recipe - 'Off Centre'
They were very gracious with us and said even if the original challenge was a "one layer" we were not required to do so on this one.
The Featured Stamper this week at SCS is Jackie Rockwell, aka Westie 2. I love Jackie's trendy, bold CAS style and I based my card on the fabulous style found in this CARD from Jackie's gallery.
The flower is colored with copics and popped up and I added scoring.

I love that bright red poppy, great card Bridget.
Your poppy is gorgeous. x
this is gorgeous! LOVE the beautifully colored poppy against the white. I struggle getting red to be the "right" red in my photos! So impressed with yours! I can see I need this poppy stamp! TFS!
Stunning Bridget - your colouring is outstanding. Just love the stamped image.
Just beautiful and fab colouring.
What an eye-catching card! LOVE that big bloom and the scoring adds...the subtle shading under the bloom really gives it a three dimensional look ... or is it popped off the card? Can't really tell.
Wow!!! Absolutely stunning!!!! The beautiful red with the white background makes such a huge impact! Is that a slight gray shadow you placed under the flower or is the flower popped up? Just gorgeous!!!
Gorgeous stamp and colouring. The red poppy looks so good against the white card, love poppy stamps. Sue x
