Birds on Wires

One of my first cards on day one of the 

Watercolor for Cardmakers Class at Online Card Classes.  

I tried the technique demonstrated by Laura Bassen of 

using inks on an acrylic block and spraying with water, using a variety of 

Ranger Distress inks.  I then took a large Nestie oval and used it as a 

template to draw in the wires across the inked area before 

adding the birds (Memory Box dies).

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Happy Trails.  

I used 300 gm. watercolor paper, I love how rich and thick this stuff is!
